My darling husband becomes a Catholic TODAY! Praises be to God! Welcome home, Honey!

At last, we will once again take communion together! Alleluia!

So many people have asked, “Why would he become Catholic? Isn’t he a senior warden in the Anglican church?”

The answer is simple: yes, he is, but I prayed him in!

I have been praying for this day for seven years and it is at last here!

I began sporadically praying the rosary when I first converted and came into the Church*, but it was not until I began to commit to praying the rosary daily that things began to really change.

I urge you to pray the rosary and see what the Blessed Mother does with your requests for help. She has yet to leave me unaided.

There are so many reasons to pray! And so many reasons to rejoice! Today I rejoice that the Lord has seen it a good and right thing to at last allow Dale Overmyer, who takes the confirmation name of “Joseph” (patron saint of fathers, builder and craftsman) to join me in a spiritual quest within the sacred walls of Catholicism.

Pray for us! And never give up praying for all of those you love. You just might be surprised! God is always and everywhere drawing people to Himself in new and wonderful ways.

“Let us not grow tired of doing good, for in due time we shall reap our harvest, if we do not give up.” Galatians 6:9

Dear Lord,

Alleluia! Thanks be to You! For You can do what we can not. All our days are in Your hands! Your timing is perfect. Your ways are divine. We bow down before You in awe of your steadfast love that never ceases for us! May we never lose hope or give up, but only trust in You. Thank You God that You are worthy of our praise. You are our beginning and our end. Praises be to You Great and loving God. Give us a greater and greater capacity to praise and love you more!

We ask this in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
